First Baptist Church is dedicated to assisting families in the spiritual development of their children, and we have found Bible Camp to be an effective resource for our parents. Therefore, each summer we provide an opportunity for our 3rd-6th Graders to attend Camp Chetek in Chetek, WI. We are thankful for this time for our children to be challenged from God's Word in a discipleship atmosphere.
Camp Chetek's Statement of Purpose Camp Chetek’s purpose, as a fundamental Baptist ministry, is to glorify God by using the controlled environment of Christian camping to help churches of like faith and practice fulfill the great commission to evangelize the lost and make disciples of those who believe.
