The “Golden Gems” is the senior citizens' ministry at First Baptist Church. The GEMS have a Sunday School class, which meets each on Sunday mornings at 9am, and then they also meet at least once per month for activities which promote fellowship and encouragement. Activities include one or more of the following elements: devotions, food, service, games, light humor, wholesome conversation, counseling, and FUN! Golden Gems activities and events are included on the church calendar.
