St. Francis Christian School is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of St. Francis, Minnesota. It is as much a part of the ministry as the Sunday morning worship service. The chief aim of the school is to train children and to obey Deuteronomy 6:4-9. The main goal of SFCS is to develop Christian young people with the character to do what God expects of them.
Stated Purposes of the School
1. To assist each student to develop his total personality in the Biblical pattern: "in WISDOM (academically); in STATURE (physically); in FAVOR WITH GOD (spiritually) and WITH MAN (socially)." (Luke 2:52)
2. To assist each child in discovering and developing his God-given talents and
abilities in creativity, communications and academics.
3. To promote self-discipline by training the student to be relevant, consistent, appreciative, responsible and thorough.
4. To assist each child in seeking God's purpose for his life.
5. To overcome failure.
6. To provide better opportunities to meet individual differences in students.
7. To help each child learn how to live to honor the Lord by meeting the
daily responsibilities which God has entrusted to him.
8. To train each student in matters of courtesy through Biblical discipline.
