After growing up in Marietta, New York, Jim Snow accepted Christ as Savior at the age of 16. He was then called to preach through the ministry of Youth for Christ and the United Christian Church of Marietta. In January of 1964, Jim began attending Bob Jones University; and on August 19,1966 Jim married his wife, Bev. After graduating from BJU in 1968, the Snows moved to Minneapolis where Jim attended Central Baptist Theological Seminary, completing his Masters Degree in 1972. The Snows and their five children - Crystal, Greg, Mike, Becky and Kenny - moved to Silver Bay, MN where Jim served as senior pastor at Silver Bay Baptist Church for 14 years. In 1986 Pastor Snow accepted the call to be the senior pastor at First Baptist Church of St. Francis and shepherded the congregation for 22 years. After he stepped down from the senior pastorate, the church called him to become Pastor Emeritus in 2008. The Snows currently remain intricately involved with the ministry at First Baptist as Pastor Snow serves as the senior citizens' pastor.
