First Baptist Church exists to bring glory to God. Since 1864 the congregation of First Baptist Church has sought to bring glory to God through a living out of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Living the Gospel is possible only through God's grace alone and is begun by faith alone in Christ alone. Towards that end we have gathered together under a common mission statement:
